Hi! I don't graduate until December 2015 but I started looking around at New Grad programs. Does anyone know how I would find hospitals that offer loan forgiveness if you sign a contract? Thanks! 0 Likes

I recently received a notice that they are looking for nurses and offer loan deferment/forgiveness/reduction for committed nurses. Just to make you aware: According to Suze Orman the student loans can be deferred for only so long, you can never claim a student loan on a bankruptcy case. They are always, always to be paid no matter what else is going on. When I was continuing my BSN I was able to keep mine in deferrment which helped me financially at the time and I did successfully pay them off within the designated time frame. If possible limit your student loan amounts by how much your annual salary will be. ie: $40,000 student loan should be paid off by how many years according to the salary you are making. It helped to keep me on track and avoid drowning in student loans later. Good luck!! 0 Likes
