HOLY COW! I did it!!! 2 years of blood, sweat and tears and it's finally over! To anyone currently in SPC's RN program or about to begin their journey, SPC really does a great job to to prepare you for what is to come. The instructors have been great and I have made life-long friendships in the program.
I also found out I have a job waiting for me when I pass my boards! YAY!!!!!
Good luck to all :)

Congrats...you are the first person that I have recently heard that graduated from there. They make you break up the pre-reqs in 3 semesters before you can apply. Their graduation rate is below 30% Many of the pple going for rn's there are in my lpn program because the bridge programs have far less hassle....congrats and good luck to you!
I'm not sure where you got that 30%, but the past 2 semesters the graduation/pass rate has been in the 90th percentile.

Yeah Anna...not sure where you got your stats from...or have you not taken stats yet, lol. Just kidding...the RN program for the bridge program, just so you know, you will still have to do the gen eds which is really where the "hassel" is. Maybe you're going to a different school now that I think about it. lol.
Lol...I took Stat I and Stat II for my first degree! I was not referring to 30% for the nursing program I was referring to the 30% for the school's overall programs. When you complete a FAFSA form and they send you your student aid report the school graduation and transfer rate is listed at the bottom of the form for each school you add to the form! Check it out!

i am so happy for you. that is quite an accomplishment. i am starting at SPC tomorrow in the ADN program.
from everything i see and more importntly from what i hear from the staff actually graduating seem like an IMPOSSIBLE task.
i got straight A's in my prereq's but the staff makes that seem like kindergarden by comparison. and looking at the amount of material they expect us to cover, the comparison seems right on target.
how can it be done?
