I will be graduating an Accelerated BSN program in May and I've decided I'm going to be totally flexible about where I go. My bf lives in California, but the market there is awful and I will be trying (but not planning) on getting an offer there.
I am applying to RN residency programs all over the country, and in my current city, in hopes that I will have an offer before I graduate.
My question for you all is: where have you heard new graduates getting the luckiest? North Dakota, rural towns in the Midwest, etc...I'd like to know specifics! And preferably anyone you have heard of that has gotten into a residency program. I'm applying to a bunch, but the ones that I am have very high numbers of applicants and low numbers of positions.
Any input would be great! :)

Check out Wyoming. :) It takes special people to live out there (I could do it!!! I just have to test out the winters. HA!) but it's GORGEOUS and I know they need nurses.
Thanks! I actually have looked into a few places, and most still seem pretty competitive for newbies, believe it or not (at least in Cheyenne). I've heard it's awesome - I'm just scared of the cold...but I would definitely bear it for a year for the gorgeous sights :)
