Graduate Nurses In California?

I just graduated from nursing school and took (and did not pass) the NCLEX. Is anyone aware of practicing as a graduate nurse in California? Is that possible, or are we always required to have licenses? If so, what do graduate nurses do, and where do I go to find out about working as a graduate nurse?

you can work w/o a license if you have an interim permit...

but if you took NCLEX, and failed, your IP is invalid

so i can't see you being able to work as a graduate nurse (new grad) w/o passing your NCLEX first. You need either an IP or your license.

You would not be able to practice as a Graduate Nurse in California. You are granted that title until you take the NCLEX exam. The Interim Permit becomes null and void once you take the exam, if you pass you are now called a Registered Nurse, if you do not pass, you cannot work as a Registered Nurse until you pass the exam.

Sorry, but there is no way around it................

You need to prepare for taking the exam again so that you may be able to work as an RN, but not until then.
