I can't find ANYTHING in the State BON site about graduate nurses. Don't other states issue temp licenses? It would seem you are pretty limited to what you can do until passing boards. Is it all up to the hospital?

Permit to Practice Professional Nursing:

An applicant accepted to write the first examiniatoin (NCLEX) following graduation from a U.S. School of Nursing may be issued a permit to practice professional nursing until notification of examinination results.

An applicant accepted to write the licensure examination following graduation from an approved school of practical nursing may be issued a permit to practice practical nursing until notification of examination results.
