I'm currently a nurse with my BSN from Villanova with 16 years experience. I'm looking into getting my Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Degree. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which online distance programs are good? Know anything about having to get the GRE for admission?? Looking for any advice here on this!! Thanks!

University of South Alabama has both Primary Care NP and Acute Care Pediatric NP. You only have to go to campus once for 3 days before starting clinicals for a skills evaluation. Here's the link to the Pediatric Primary Care NP program: Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Awful. RUN. DID BSN Express and they couldn't mess much up because that schedule is locked in. Currently transferring to Georgetown for FNP. Was accepted to Villanova for FNP then was suddenly pushed into AGNP, then pushed back a year because they accepted to many students for allowable clinical spots to keep their certification (I had set up my own preceptors but it didn't matter). Every time I talked to my advisor they would change my curriculum to classes I had already finished. Even when they set me back a year I would go on just as the registrar would open to sign up for the changed curriculum and the class that was only offered 1x yearly would be full (meaning they put students in and filled it prior to it being available for sign up yet suggested the class knowing it was full). Their answer, Oh well. Soooo unorganized, little if any response to your emails and calls. Put in for transcripts to transfer my Spring 2018 classes to Georgetown and found out from Georgetown they didn't even put my Spring 2017 graduate research, which was a TON of work and money, on the transcript! What a s### show.
Georgetown is online via online in class, live, sessions. My experience so far has been a 180 from Villanova. I'm going to lose a lot of the work I did at Villanova, but I can't trust them to ever let me graduate at this point. I'm not the only one this is happening to either.
