Does anyone know if you have an advantage to getting into the program if all of your pre-reqs are complete when you apply? I have finished all the required classes. My GPA is okay, and my NET score was not too great. I am just worried because it seems like most everyone does very well on the NET and has a very good GPA. Just trying to find out if I have any advantage. I am worried and driving myself crazy. Thanks for any input.

I also applied for fall 09 admission session. My current GPA is 3.34 and my composite NET result is 77. Is there a good chance of getting into the program with the GPA and NET result?
I don't know. I am not sure exactly how it is weighted. GPA, NETscore, and number of completed classes?? Have you finished all of the pre-reqs? Sounds like you have a good chance with your GPA. Let me know if you hear something. Good Luck. Thanks.

I got my acceptance letter today for Fall 2009, and was denied yet I had 83 on NET and 3.5 science GPA. This is really depressing. I am going to think about changing majors.

I can't believe that you were denied gloriahippo! Your credentials sound great. Sorry to hear that you didn't get in.

Wow, what was your overall GPA??? Did you apply anywhere else?
You could still have a chance, there were a handful of people for Fall 08 that at first recieved a rejection letter but then later recieved an acceptance letter. If your overall GPA was as good at your science (or at least a 3.0) and you have all your required pre-req's completed you might consider calling the nursing office or going to speak with them about why you were denied... Maybe it was a mistake.
