GPC acceptance letter please!!!!

I know I keep looking in the mail everyday, hoping....I have heard if you are accepted it comes in a big packet. I am so nervous I didnt get in. My TEAS were not as high as I was hoping!

It is almost April,already. From lasst year Fall letters went out around thhe 5th and 6th of March!!!

I wonder why they are doing it differently this year? I think it will be April before we know. Have you heard any info about how many applied?

No but I wish they had a rolling admission like Mercer, because I applied in October. Do you know what yor GPA score is and TEAS?

Oh gosh so you have been waiting a while. My gpa is 3.8 and teas is 78. I really have not gotten good info on what we need to have only that 70 is the minimum. But I am afraid my teas will be too low. What about you?

My GPA 3.7 and TEAS 82. And yes I have been waiting a while, in the info is conflicting. Reading different post it seems like some people got in with good grades and some didn't.

I took my pre-reqs at GPC and I know some students who had a 3.7 GPA and were denied because they took the TEAS or NET more than once. A classmate of mine wanted to see why she was denied into the nursing program when people with a lower GPA were accepted. She emailed the people in the nursing program and they told her since they had so many applicants they had to deny anybody who took the entrance test more than 1 time.

thanks for the info sharzaejones it was very helpful. I hope that increases my chances because I only took it once. I will be glad when they mail out letters whether I am accepted or not, I just need to stop feeling so anxious!

adorable42181, if you don't get in, then i definitely don't have a chance! A guy in my chemistryII class got a 90 teas score with a 4.0 gpa (or so he said) and was denied for fall 2010 but got in for spring 2011. Who knows what they are looking for? I have a 76 teas and 3.9 gpa (4.0 in gpc gpa) but I have no confidence in getting in at all. My science score was an F on the teas. I took the teas only once as well. But after I saw my score, I contacted an adviser about retaking it and she said they don't have anymore more spots available for fall to retake it. And she said I had a competitive score, but she cannot give me assurance on anything. So, maybe it's a good thing I didn't take it twice. It seems everyone I meet at GPC is a pre-nursing student though! I think to myself, how on earth will everyone make it into the nursing program? But I guess plenty don't make it. I watch the mailman put the mail in my box every day and hope to see a big envelope!

Don't think that way 3timesacharm, because there maybe something they see in your app that they don't see in mine, which would lead them to choose you over me. Which I do not want them to choose neither one of us over another I hope we all get in!!! But just from reading previous post I do not know what they are looking for either. I said if this fails then I will go ahead and apply at Georgia state and Clayton for their BSN program in the spring. I am a strong believer that what GOD has for me is for me. So if I do not get accepted it just means that GPC program at that time was not for me, but I will never give up I will still continue to push forward and reach my goals!
