GPA and TEAS score for admission at GSU

Im applying for admission at Georgia State University, wondering if any of the current students would post there GPA, and TEAS scores that got them accepted, thanks.

here is where a lot of the students posted their GPA's and TEAS scores for GSU. They are mostly all 3.8+ and 85+ on TEAS

Yes, the scores and grades are definitely trending upwards at GSU. 3.7 and 96% is what I got, and I heard our class is the beginning of a drastic upward change in the average GPA/TEAS score to get in at GSU. I think it has to do with all the people who already have degrees going back to school for a 2nd time now that the recession hit many really hard.

Hi I am a freshman at gsu applying for nursing school for fall 2011 and I took the TEAS and made a 66 the first time im so depress and I just want to know my chances of gettin in. I retook the TEAS friday and Im waiting on my results know and I also volunteer does that help? Also my gpa is a 3.88

Hi there,

Did you receive your test results yet, and how do you think you did on your essay? I hope you get in I will be praying for you! I did not apply for fall I am just going to wait til spring since it is fewer students applying then,and also I will be done with all of my prereqs!

Thank you so much I made a 70.7 but I am going to retake the T.E.A.S. because the advisor said someone got in with a 75 and their test score was lower than mine I am just going to keep praying. I think my response and paper is really good everyone that read my paper said they can see my passion thru my paper I am acutally turning in my packet today. Also I will keep you in my prayers to applying for nursing school has been very stressful.

niatoria, good luck! I also took the TEAS and scored in the 60s.. So sad. People are scoring 80s and 90s and I don't know how!! Because my score is so low I won't be applying for fall. I'll wait and apply for spring. Good luck everyone! and also I would appreciate any tips for the TEAS!!

Well I just turn my application in today I am going to take it one more time I can only approved I cannot give up on my dreams........Just cannot

Thanks Niatoria, make sure you keep us posted so you can let us know what to expect when we try in the spring. hlee I prayed really hard and I guess that helped because I scored in the 99 percentile for science and I had a lot of stuff on there that I did not know.
