GPA 2.24 and running out of Financial Aid!

Published

Hey everyone, I know you're all going like "this is another one of those students who has a low gpa and wants to get into a nursing school" lol. But yeah, I go to a private school and been there for about 4 years now. I only have 18 more credits left to graduate, and right now i have a 2.24 GPA and I want to get into a nursing school, but am afraid it's too low to even enter one :( . To make matters WORSE, my financial aid is running out for some reason. So I can't Even finish the remaining 12 credits of my college without having to pay from pocket. And you all know that's completely out of the question, since private schools are expensive. I just really need some help and guidance right now, because I feel like my life has reached a dead end and there's no point of return. I can't stay and finish my Bachelor's even if I make good grades and all A's, and I can't get into nursing. :( All because I didn't make the right choices in the past when I first started college.

Take some time off school, work, save money and pay for the remainder of your degree out of pocket. Switch schools if need be. The current gpa is too low for nursing school.

Have you looked into appealing for more financial aid?

Surely you could get a job, take six credits per term while working full-time and graduate by this time next year. Right?

Apply for loans. I had to do that for my entire undergrads. I was denied financial aid, but the loans covered my schooling.
