Hello to all. So I am in the final stretch of nursing school, and I really want to join the Navy. But I don't have a 3.5 to get accepted. Should I give it up or just try anyway? Your input is valued.

As long as you meet the requirements you still have a chance since the GPA is just part of the selection process. Since most services no require 2 years of experience you might want to use that time to retake some of the course which are pulling down you GPA.
What is their minimum GPA requirement?

From what I have seen all the services require a minimum of 3.0 when applying for the new grad slots. This may not be 100% accurate, but it is what I have come across when looking at the programs they offer to new grads.
Yea I'm hovering around there. Thanks guys. I'm recalling hoping for the best. I'll have to kick butt this last semester.

They say that no one category will make you or break you. I'm a little worried about the GPA myself seeing that I'm not exactly lighting up the boards. Remember it's your cumulative and not your nursing GPA only.
