Got My Date!!!!

sorry, I applied & my application was accepted on July 18th for the SRAC. I began calling for a cancellation date on Oct 6th. Almost evertime I called I was offered something, but usually that weekend or next weekend. This past monday on the 3rd of November I called in the morning that had no cancellation dates, the administrative assisstant encouraged me to call back that afternoon, and I did and they had 3 dates to offer me. I took the farthest one out. Anyone interested in a cancellation date, call, call, call, call. They are extremely helpful at the Georgia Nurses Association.

i called the mpac this afternoon and they still tell me they are scheduling the first week of june...they have told me this now the last 4 times i have called. are we that backed up that it is taking 2 months to schedule one weeks worth of cpne applications...i am beginning to think someone is not giving me the whole story..but nevertheless, i get told "we are not able to offer you a date yet"...dont mean to hijack this thread ..im off on my cpne rant again...

nope rant, rant, rant away. this process is frustrating!!! we have 4 people in my study group, 2 have applied to the srac and everytime i have called except once or twice they have offered me dates, but when she has called they have not been able to offer her anything, and she actually applied before me, at the beginning of july, but according to ga nursing association, cancellation dates are first come first served. srac is still scheduling mid may as of 11/3. sooo it could be worse, lol!! but it is a pain in the a**, so i understand. i wish they had more testing sites, it would make things soooo much easier. i really think it is hit or miss, but when you are on the miss end of things, it blows it really does!!! :banghead:
