Congrats!
A 30 minute drive doesn't seem like much at all, but I live in a city and that is pretty normal to get from one place to another. It will take me about 25 minutes to get to my school on a non-trafficky kinda day, and that is just getting from the SE side of town to the N side of town.
Good luck - I feel confident that you will be able to make it work.
CONGRATS!!! Your days will be so busy between school and family, it might be nice to have two 30-minute sessions of forced, dedicated "me time" each day -- might be the only quiet time you ever get! I jest (kinda), but truly, congratulations on your accomplishment, and I hope you can figure out something that works for you! Best of luck!
Well my plan with child care is either my ex or a good friend of mine. My son gets the bus at her house everyday. I know 30 minutes doesn't seem long but my son does competitive judo and practices a lot. The dojo is in my town and it's going to be hard to make practice when I'm so far away. And I honestly wouldn't worry so much but he is pretty good at this and I hate to lose the momentum he has built. We go to Dallas for the junior Olympics in a couple of weeks, then we go to Hawaii for another national event right after. I feel like I am going to be stretched to the limit if I go to the other campus. I may be worrying over nothing.

It finally came yesterday. I have been accepted for fall!!! But I didn't get in to the campus I wanted. We apply to the whole region at our school and they can put you at any campus in the region. So yesterday I was bummed. I felt like I had worked my butt off only to find out I may not be able to attend. This campus is a good 30 minute drive not to mention who knows where clinicals are. I am a single mom and I don't know if I can make it work.
I'm hoping that someone will decline their seat at my local campus and I can go there. Waiting on a phone call back. But I am very happy I made it into the program!! It's very hard to get in and I did it!!
