I just got the results of my background check and drug screen I had to do for the nursing school - all of which I knew would be fine. And they were, except - the screening company put someone else's drug screen results on my summary! Not my name, not my collection lab - as far as I can tell the only thing that is right is my school's name. Now I am wondering who got my results?

Wow, if a background screening company does not understand how vitally important it is to have the correct results with the correct name and to avoid breaching privacy issues, we are all in trouble! So many people have their employment and education on the line to such companies these days, it is really scary that such mistakes happen.

Though, I am the "fly in the soup" girl. If something like this is going to happen, it is usually to me!

Raise H-E-double hockey sticks! Call the company as many times as you have to do get the problem rectified. And call your school to make sure they know that they have the wrong results. They will probably be able to figure it out because it will have someone elses name but just give them a heads up about the situation. But call the company, call the some more, and call them some more. Don't let this go. They need to be aware of their mistake and they need to fix it!

I'd take it a step further and call a lawyer!
