So glad I can get this free each year. We had 92% compliance last year - that means I had fewer exposures to the flu!

Got mine at work one day last week.
To me it is a blessing to have it available. I have known people who died with flu complications.

I am free of fear and it is a real blessings. I am free of fears that Big Pharma wants to impose on me to make me its customer. Jesus said that only sick people need a doctor. As long as I am not sick I do not depend on doctors for so called preventive measures.

This has to be sarcasm or a troll, right? No one could actually write this with a straight face.
Nevermind, I looked up the poster's history.

Got mine today. My arm is sore as the dickens and I know I will feel like poo tomorrow (always get malaise after the flu shot) but its sure better than getting the flu. I am a huge needlephobe (can give them just fine, getting them is another story...I have a vasovagal response a lot of times). My coworker who gave it to me was ready to get out the smelling salts before she gave it LOL. Thankfully they were not needed.

To get malaise after flu shot and still think as if benefits outweighs risk is the same as to take BP meds for SBP 141, get symptoms of hypo tension and still believe that BP meds are needed in this case. (If you have malaise ofter flu shot it means that vaccine is too hard for your immune system).
le sigh. I take BP meds too. 4 of em. Without medications, my SBP usually runs that. But then there are the off few days where it shoots up REAL high 180-200 range on days when I'm sleep deprived or really stressed. Its totally idiopathic. Have I had hypotensive episodes? Sure. But not bad enough for me to stop them and risk a stroke.

I got my flu shot a couple days ago and I wasn't all that sore. The person that did the injection was very good at her injection technique and I rarely get a sore arm if only 0.5 mL is going in. In that regard, I'm very happy! I just hope that I never develop an allergy to vaccine ingredients...
