:D after more than a month of waiting to get my att, i'm finally authorized to test, and all of a sudden i'm beginning to panic a little. It took me THREE times for me to pass the hesi in order to graduate and i'm worried that it will take me a ton of times to pass the NCLEX, does anyone have any particular study techniques, or study groups in the Hampton Roads area? I NEED to pass the first time, i can't afford 200 bones for a retake..

Congrats on getting that ATT! :) My advice: visit the NCLEX forum here on allnurses: NCLEX Discussion Forum - Nursing for Nurses

Good luck!!

Thanks! i'm excited and nervous about it!

Congrats!!! I was really uptight when I went to take my NCLEX...u can review any nclex questions but all you really ahve to remember is your ABC's they taught you in school....alot of questions are priority questions, like which patient would you go and check on first after report? and it will give you four choices and you have to choose. they also have medication doses on there but they aren't very hard...and then they have side effects of meds and diff. questions about signs and symptoms but the main thing they ask are priority questions and if a pt. has a certain allergy what meds can and cant they take! good luck! everyone feels like they failed when they come out but you will do just fine!!!!!!
