Gordon State College (GSC) Spring 2020

Published

Just throwing this out there to see if anyone on here applied to Gordon State College's ASN program for Spring 2020?!

I called a few weeks ago and they said they were just starting to go over the packets... and the letter that I got saying I could take the Kaplan says it takes the committee 6-8 weeks to go over the packets ?

I called just yesterday.. no answer ? did you receive the letter stating you passed the Kaplan? I haven’t received that letter yet. I took it in July lol.. that’s 8 weeks..

I didn't think they sent a letter since the letter says that a score of 62 and up is passing. I'm getting anxious since registration for next semester opens up on the 21st of this month ?

So i heard that after the Kaplan you will receive a letter stating “yes” or “no” you didn’t pass. Once we pass that same letter tells us to schedule the dosage calc test. That’s crazy! That’s literally in 3 weeks... i wonder what is going on. I know they added an extra Kaplan date for like late august or something which could be what pushed things back some.

Ugh, I haven't heard anything! ?

Do you know if they just send physical letters via snail mail or do they send an email too??

Same... i will try to make a few more calls. Previous cohorts on here stated they got their acceptance letter mid October. We haven’t even received the go ahead for the dosage test lol. I feel like they are receiving a bunch of calls at this point but what can we do.. we all clearly want this! I’ll let you know if i hear anything soon. Crossing my fingers!

Yes me too! Hope we hear something soon, I'm getting super anxious!

Still nothing!!! I am dying over here lol?

Same ! Lol I’ve been lurking on past year’s threads and it looks like they received their letters no later than the 12th of October. I’ve also had no luck in contacting the adviser or dean. If i didn’t live 60 miles away i would so popped up lol

What is going on!! I've tried calling too with no luck. I wonder if anyone else has heard anything ?

Why would they send out a letter that we passed the Kaplan if you get your score right after? Just trying to learn!

All schools do that as a formality. They’ll be like “congrats, you have the minimum gpa, courses completed, required test scores, here’s the next steps” blah blah blah. Lol
