Just throwing this out there to see if anyone on here applied to Gordon State College's ASN program for Spring 2020?!
I know I'm 4 years late to this thread, but actually, I was hoping some of you that got accepted would tell me how the program is! I am waiting to hear if I was accepted for Spring 2025, but I was already accepted at another school too. I don't know anything about Gordon. I just went on a tour over the Summer and of course there were no students, so while the campus is adorable and the people I did meet were wonderful, I've still not met anyone who goes to, or knows anyone who goes/went to Gordon. I guess I just want to know if you felt your professors were setting you up to succeed, if you felt the material was clear and conveyed in a way that you felt confident in your understanding, and if you felt like your classmates were close and supportive. I'd also love to know where your clinicals were at. I'm a bit hesitant about Gordon since I know so little, but also, I feel like I prefer the location (I'm a commuter) and I like that school seems to really value "adult learners" aka old people like me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
