The printable applications are up on the Gordon site now!!! I was surprised it was already up! Got mine printed & filled out with all my stuff packed away in an envelope ready to turn in first thing Monday morning! I'm applying for the bridge program, but I'm interested in everyone's stats and I hope everyone can get in!
Post here if you're applying!
Also, what are the stats of everyone who's applying? I made a 74.7 on the TEAS and my GPA is not so great. So I'm holding my breath and hoping I make it!
Good luck to everyone!!! :)
Just dropped off my application! was surprised that there was anyone there this early! woohoo here's hoping!

good luck!! i thought i would do better on it than i did.. i did good on the english/grammar portions, but terrible on the math & science. i ran out of time on the math part and it had a lot of life science stuff on it, which i wasn't prepared for - i've had a few people tell me theirs had a lot of chemistry on it, but i was happy with the grade, i just hope it's good enough to get me in!
i definitely recommend the relax part! good luck!!!
Got my Critcal Thinking Exam notice today in the mail - so at least I know I qualify to take that!

I will be applying for the spring 2013 as well but I'm a little confrused on something. I am a transfer student still taking classes at my current school for the summer so the office of admissions is awaiting my final transcript before i can receive my acceptance letter. I want be able to get a final transcript until the 30th, which is the deadline for applying. So does anyone know if I can just send in the letter showing that they received my application? I dont take my TEAS until the 23, so I'm like crunch time here, lol. I'm praying for us all to get in, because Lord knows I want this more than anything.
I'm honestly not sure, hopefulGordonGirl. I think your best option would probably be to contact the Gordon Nursing people.
I'm not sure what you mean by "send in the letter showing that they received my application" do you mean something showing you requested the transcripts? I know that if you are missing anything then they consider your application to be incomplete, so I would recommend either coming in person and talking to someone or calling and finding out what they say you should do. The office is on the third floor of the nursing & health sciences building.
Good luck!!
Great advice kimsey, thanks. I was talking about a formal acceptance letter from Gordon not a transcript though, lol. I'm guessing that you are already a current Gordon student, so you already had an acceptance letter to the college. I called the office of admissions and they said that I can use an informal acceptance letter to the college but the nursing application clearly says formal, so I dont know. I live off exit 228 so, I'm just going to wait until I take my TEAS on the 23 and then go down there with my application and hope to submit a complete packet, so hoping to be seeing you in the spring as a future nurse graduate of Gordon, thanks again.
Oh Good luck to you as well!!!
Oh! I understand now - I'm not sure how that would work - I am already a Gordon student - but I had to get a copy from the registrars because I couldn't find my original acceptance letter. I'd definitely consult with the nursing program people and then talk to the registrars/admissions people - they're all very helpful and should hopefully be able to assist you! good luck!!!

First off I want to wish everyone good luck! Today I finally dropped off my application and all I have to say is these next few months are going to be very long! Does anyone have any idea as to what the Critical Thinking Assestment covers?
Thanks!
good luck to you too, broberts136!
they are definitely going to be long, i'm already ready to fast forward a few months!! i'm not really sure what the critical thinking assessment covers, but from what i have been told and understand it's not something you can really study for and it tests you on your critical thinking abilities. from the gordon website it says this "there is no study guide available for this exam. it is based on prior knowledge of general concepts". i guess we'll have to wait and see what it's really like for ourselves.
good luck!! [color=#556670]
