  1. GaMommy81, I am a semester away from finishing my ADN and was interested in Clayton State for their RN-BSN and was wondering your thoughts on their program. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. broberts136 Gordon State 2015
  2. As far as the class, I really enjoyed it maybe because it was during the summer and I was just ready for school to start. It was helpful because they reviewed dosage calc, so I understood what the pharm teacher was talking about when school started. You will have to take a dosage cal test and make a 90 a couple of weeks after school starts. You have 3 tries to make a 90 and the teacher gives plenty of study guides and homework which will prepare you for the exam. The other good thing about the class I enjoyed was we were able to ask all kinds questions regarding clinical, school, nursing, studying, working, etc. which helped ease some of the anticipation. Also I took the class that had the CPR attached so I could get it out of the way.
  3. I am first semester, so I know how you are feeling right now, please feel free to ask me any questions and I will be happy to answer them if I can. Congrats!
  4. Congratulations everyone! Enjoy your time between now and January!
  5. I just started my first semester and there are 80 in our class.
  6. Good luck to everyone! You'll do great. The test is 40 questions and you have 40 minutes. Try and leave the ones you do not know and finish them later, don't second guess yourself, go with your instinct and try to breathe (if you can). Good luck!
  7. 1 mrzhughes, yes I did and I just started the program this August and there are 80 people in our class. Did you apply for the upcoming spring class?
  8. Awesome! I purchased my books, but I haven't received any information about our uniforms. Ugh!!!
  9. I am so looking forward Tuesday!!!! I can't believe it is finally here!!!
  10. Hi all, if this helps any I took my critical thinking test last year around August 29th. I remember because our results were delayed because of Labor Day. It is 40 questions and you have 40 minutes to answer the questions and unfortunately there is no study guide. Good luck all!
  11. I too am finally registered for classes and will be in the C section. Ready for this ride to get started, although nervous, scared and excited all in the same moment! Hahaha! See everyone August 13th.
  12. What section of 1901 are folks signing up for? I never thought I could be so excited for August.
  13. Interesting. I wish we had a better idea what it was about and if it wasn't so many days. It seems like you could cover everything in 2 days instead of 4. I think part of the reason I want to do it is to meet other students and get this nursing thing started.
  14. Is anyone attending the nursing school success workshop in June?
  15. Congrats Pionysailor! Looking forward to meeting you in the fall!
