I wanted to make this for everyone applying this Spring! I attached the point guide to the post!

I just submitted my application and am waiting to sign up for my TEAS. What is everyone using to prepare? I have very bad test anxiety and horrible ADHD but have managed to make it this far with decent grades. What do you guys have for points? GPA’s? I’m really intimidated by the point system because I didn’t transfer in with 60+ credits! I read through some of the old posts for applicants and I’ve seen people being accepted with points as low as 15 so I’m crossing my fingers.

They send both wether you got in or not

A big packet is accepted and a small envelope is not accepted from what I’ve heard

It only takes 1-2 business days for mail to go around in-state. I bet they were sent today if the school observes Columbus Day yesterday and weren’t there. They want us to have the letters before registration. Makes sense to me. I bet by Friday or before! 

I really hope they were mailed out today. When I called, she said this week. I was hoping she’d say they’d already sent them out ? I hope it’s before registration week!

I spoke to the nursing department and they said we will have our letters next week even though they are being sent out this week. that makes me believe they are sending out letters on Friday. this is taking toooooooo long ?

That makes no sense. Registration for seniors starts Monday and my advisement appointment is Tuesday...

I’m frustrated because I’m Military and register before other students so now if we don’t get packets in time I’m going to have to fight for classes ? I don’t have much to choose from but still you would think they would have them out prior to registration for us since a lot of us are basing the next few months of our lives off of this denial or acceptance!

same here. maybe she was just saying that to cover her bases? IDK...

I don’t know. It doesn’t make too much sense because every other semester, letters came before registration week ?‍♀️

Yea I’d suspect by end of week. 

If not.... there’s going to be ALOT of us calling on Monday LOL!

I hope no screw ups happen. Because all that does is take a seat away for this cohort/or next from the last one. Hope they got it together this time. But hey, it’s 10/15 and no letters yet, advisor appt for Tuesday ...without knowing my near future. “Yay...?”

This whole process has been unbelievably stressful LOL I’m going to go back to work FT if I don’t get in since I’m just going to have to retake the TEAS for that extra point... and I’m almost done with all of my BSN requirements. I want to know what my future looks like so I can figure out my job situation. I’m just so overwhelmingly stressed LOL

Seriously! I found out I have lower points than previously said I had. Ggggrrrrr. I have a great GPA, and my TEAS is OK too...I hate the point system! I’ll have my BS end of this semester. With all my prerequisite and micro/AP’s done...with all A’s. But noooooo, points are a big deal! Wah. Negative Nancy pants are on today! It’s Thursday and I’m hoping for some news In the mail...please!
