I wanted to make this for everyone applying this Spring! I attached the point guide to the post!


I just submitted my application and am waiting to sign up for my TEAS. What is everyone using to prepare? I have very bad test anxiety and horrible ADHD but have managed to make it this far with decent grades. What do you guys have for points? GPA’s? I’m really intimidated by the point system because I didn’t transfer in with 60+ credits! I read through some of the old posts for applicants and I’ve seen people being accepted with points as low as 15 so I’m crossing my fingers.

I bet we get our letters this coming week! Last week encore registration!

Ugh I’m mentally preparing to have to retake the TEAS. I made a 79.3% I was literally 0.5% away from getting that extra point to make 16 points. I’m going to cry if I have to take this damn TEAS again LOL

Ugh, I feel your pain. I’m not retaking that test ? I studied for WEEKS. Especially the science! I did great on all the sections...except the science. There were questions I never even saw in ANY study guide and felt so defeated....and only got a 77.3% on the overall TEAS. I’ll do anything else to get more points except retake that test....and it’s soo expensive between the actual test, practice tests, study materials, etc.

YES! I studied for like 6 weeks, but for part of that I was taking a full course load so I really couldn't dedicate the amount of time I should have. I don't want to retake it but that's the only way I can get more points so I'm screwed LOL. I had questions on there I never saw in any of the study material either! I personally think it's a huge scam. The ATI test prep stuff was such a waste of money I'm so mad. There were so many errors in the book alone. Only other option is to be wait listed for a spot in a community college RN class. *** situation all around.

I wouldn’t retake the TEAS. That’s actually a great score. Take an easy class tray goes towards your bachelors and raise your GPA. You’ll get in no doubt!

I called the nursing department and they told me that letters will be going out this week! She didn’t tell me a specific day though ?? So nerve wrecking! I’m too anxious

I hope it’s by Friday we get them! I have my advisor appointment on Tuesday 20th! Killin me!

Thank god. I can start planning the next 8 months of my life ? I have a strong feeling I’m not getting in with 12 points, and that’s OK, but I didn’t want to start making any relocating plans until I have closure with a letter....bad juju ??

It only takes 1-2 business days for mail to go around in-state. I bet they were sent today if the school observes Columbus Day yesterday and weren’t there. They want us to have the letters before registration. Makes sense to me. I bet by Friday or before!

Friday for sure they sent my diploma out with Wednesday mail and I got it Friday so fingers crossed and good luck everyone

Do you guys know if we get a letter saying that we didn’t get in? Or do they only send out acceptance letters?
