Goodwin Summer 2022

Hi, just looking to see if anyone else has applied to Goodwin for their nursing program this Summer? I applied for the Spring start and didn't have enough points so I'm back at it again with an extra point this time and hoping for the best.

Last year registration opened on 02/22/21.

I read on another thread that the letters are sent 2-3 weeks before registration.

Hi everyone! I applied for Summer 2022 as well and am anxiously waiting! I believe I had 19 points. Fingers crossed we hear soon. Good luck!

Also, is anyone planning on taking classes in Bridgeport? I’m in the southern part of the state and haven’t heard much about classes opening there now that they acquired University of Bridgeport. It will be so much more convenient than driving up to East Hartford.

Goodluck! I think you’ll be fine with 19 points. 
When the get the BU campus accredited for nursing classes, I’ll be going there. I live in Norwalk, so 15 minutes is way better than an hour 15.

Awesome! Have you heard how long that will be? I was hoping it would be completed before we start (assuming we get in!) because that drive up was rough just to drop off the application! I’d love to have a 20 minute ride vs an hour!

I haven’t heard how long it’ll be. I’ve just tried to look up how long accreditation takes, but I didn’t have much luck. It seems like they will have students enrolled in nursing classes on the campus for a year before they’ll can be accredited. But it wasn’t clear if that for a branch program on a new campus or an advanced additional program on the same campus that’s accredited for a lower level degree.

My impatience got the worst of me an I emailed Ebony asking her if there was an update on decisions. She responded that decisions will be mailed next week ?

@Lauren R well, I guess I jinxed it, after 13 years my advisor is leaving. So this is great LOL. Also registration opens Feb 21st.
