Hi, just looking to see if anyone else has applied to Goodwin for their nursing program this Summer? I applied for the Spring start and didn't have enough points so I'm back at it again with an extra point this time and hoping for the best.

I agree.... I need to set up everything this week. I had titers drawn when I first went back to school showing immunity so that should still work but I need the appointment and the TB test

I need a new laptop for school and I'm wondering what everyone will be using?

Hi, I have been using a MacBook it works well with canvas and uploading school work. 

Also I had my titers drawn and my hep b and mmr came back equivocal

I took both vaccines today and it seems I need to get another dose of Hep B 

wondering if anyone else's hep b came back negative or equivocal and received a notification about receiving a second dose. I can't tell if it is asking for a second titer or second dose before the next titer. 

I received all these vaccines as a child so I don't see why I would need a second dose.

I  was thinking of getting an iPad/pen/keyboard but I’m not sure LOL as for titers… when I went back to school by rubella part of the MMR was negative… apparently there was a time frame in the 80’s where this happened and I needed a booster.. my hep b was equivocal also and I’ve actually had the set twice… so third time is a charm hopefully… my boss who is a doctor said he had the same issue with hep b

Oh for sure I think that would be good, you would just need to make sure everything is viewable on the iPad and that if we have to take any test online that you can do that on an iPad. I know I read somethings in my class can not be done on an iPad. 

ahhh okay! thank you for explaining that for me. So it seems I will need a second hep b and a second mmr then ?

Hi all! What are you all picking for your clinical? I work FT during the week so the only option for me was the Saturday 6:30-3:30 in Vernon. Bummed they don’t have more options on evenings or weekends but I guess I’ll be sucking it up for the hour ride each way this Summer!

I picked Saturday as my first choice and basically every other day but Monday and the option in Wallingford… I’m in enfield so that’s just toooo far LOL

Hi guys, 

I also picked Saturday as my top choice LOL, so I can plan on likely not getting that as it seems that was a popular option. It does seem kinda weird that they only had one weekend option and no evening options when they claim to be accommodating to people who work full time and have families. But it is what it is ?‍♀️
