Goodwin Summer 2022

Hi, just looking to see if anyone else has applied to Goodwin for their nursing program this Summer? I applied for the Spring start and didn't have enough points so I'm back at it again with an extra point this time and hoping for the best.

@Lauren R my fingers are crossed for you, I would love to be in class with you.

You never know 10 people might not pass into the program due to drug test, not getting CPR certified, not passing the physical from a doctor, or just life not going as planned. 

I'm not giving up hope, if you end up getting in Summer 2022 let us know.

that is very true, there is also the deposit that some people may not be able to meet as well.

Hi everyone! I just got my letter today & was accepted! They were postmarked on Thursday 2/17 so at least they did tell the truth about that. 

Looking forward to meeting you guys! Is there a facebook group yet for this cohort? And is everyone planning on taking the morning or evening class?

also I still didn’t get my letter so I called and they’re printing my off one so I have it ?

congrats!! I called yesterday but didn't believe the good news until my letter came today! I'm planning on evening classes. I am not sure about fb I havent thought to look ?

so, my packet didn't have a supply list in it..... does anyone know if they send one later? I know basic things but I want to be prepared and not running around last minute

Maybe they do that once everything is in? Because technically we’re not in the program till all our papers are in

And also I think they would send a nursing course handbook of some sort

@Raelyn1981 I already feel like I’m running around last minute because we only have a month to complete and get in all the papers. So I made a doctors appointment for the blood work we need, maybe an appt for the drug test, set up CPR certification, I still need to get insurance and sign up for the nursing associations we need to join but with all the exams this week I’m losing my mind LOL
