Goodwin College Summer 2019 Points

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything from Goodwin for the Summer 2019 cohort? I applied with either 17 or 19 points (not sure if they will accept all of my previous college credits towards the 60 credits). I noticed that historically students had found out usually around the 15th or 16th, but sadly, I still have not received anything. Has anyone else received a response?

The points for LPN applicants was 18 and 16 for people who are starting with Nurs 100. LPN's can do the Nurs 100 class as well.

Really? That's interesting. Did you hear this from your advisor? I wonder if they would let me start. I am a LPN and have 16 points. I wonder if it would be worth the extra money. Thanks for sharing.

I got a denial letter. I ended up with 17 points and the cutoff for LPN's was 18 points. I'm just going to reapply for the regular program in the fall. The cut off for the traditional program was 16 points.

You would have to re-apply so sorry. They already accepted everyone. Good luck everyone. We can do this!

I feel its worth the extra money because you will be in the program. As long as your in is all that matters you know. It will take a little longer but its worth it.

You can reapply in for the Fall semester if you want to start at NUR 100 as an LPN. I talked to my advisor about it already. I think that is the route I'm going to do since the graduation date would be the same.

I will be doing the same. I just spoke to her. She said I'd have to wait until the Fall to apply for Spring bridge. I don't want to wait! I already have my BSN prerequisites so I am taking summer semester off. Let's hope we can get in as a regular applicant for fall.

Hey everyone! Has anyone been able to log into Castle branch yet with their student ID? I've called the department a few times about it and they keep telling me it'll be fixed in a few days.. its been 2 weeks now

Also, who has registered for the NSNA already? Which option did you select under the Education profile - Are you? I don't feel as though I fall into any of those options so I want to be careful with what I choose.

Hi, I was not able to sign into Castle branch either. Hopefully soon they will fix it. And I will try and sign up for NSNA tonight and let you know what I think.

No I have not received anything about the background check. I am waiting for the email. I will call school tomorrow.
