Good pop up but didnt pass?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Has anyone in here read/experience anything where someone got the good pop up, but didn't pass? I hate to wait 3-4 weeks to get my official results. My state does not support quickresults.

I got the good pop up. I just was thinking if people actually even get the credit card page in california at all, because we have to pay the application fee. Yes I for sure have and will be checking the BRN everyday. My schools transcripts have been to the BRN, because we graduated in April and our school notified us when they sent them out. Im just stressed I guess and trying to figure out why its taking so long when all the people I know got their results within 3 working days after a good pop up.

i know someone that got the CC page 3 times in california and failed. I think pearson vue trick is a nationwide thing.

Ok thank you JENURSE03.

your very welcome. I followed the threads here since 2009 so I kept track of the bad pop and good pop ups in california lol! so i figured the PVT is a nationwide thing. Then we have to be patience with our state putting up the stuff. I think California is slower than most states. =\

Yippe PVT does work. My name appeared on the BRN today. Check the boards today. My friend who took hers on the 27th was up today to after she took all 265 questions. Im so happy. God is so so good!!

Mine is up today after I took it on the 27th!! PVT definitely works!!

Congrats to californians! Gooo us! Still waiting for mine!

It should be there soon. Keep us posted. Congrats California nurses.

Am from CA too. Took mine yesterday and getting the good pop up! But they took my IP away! Should I be worried ? :(

I graduated in California at the end of May, paid my $200 to Pearson Vue, my school grades were posted online the first week of June, and then my school sent my cohort's application packets to the Board in one envelope. I got my Authorization To Test e-mail on 06/25 and took my NCLEX-RN a week later on 07/02 8am. On 06/27, I received 2 letters in the mail saying 1) I was eligible to take the NCLEX, but 2) My transcript with my degree was missing so my results wouldn't be released until they got it. Apparently, in California, you can still take the NCLEX without the transcript - as long as the rest of your application & background check are okay. My school sent our transcripts sometime the week of 06/25-29.

After I took my test, the Pearson Vue trick yielded "You have test results on hold" or something like that and wouldn't let me go on to the credit card page. I figured it was because they didn't have my transcripts yet. A couple days later, I got the "good" pop-up on Pearson Vue and I'm still getting it (maybe they have my transcripts now?), but no letters in the mail and my name's not on the BRN's website yet.

Most of my classmates haven't even gotten their eligibility letters in the mail yet for some reason. Some even paid their $200 to Pearson Vue ahead of time hoping for their ATT e-mail, but nothing.

Anyway, hopefully this puts all the CaliforRNians :) at ease - keep in mind that hundreds of RN students graduated in May/June in California and it's probably going to take some time for the people in Sacramento to look at each application, verify everything, put letters in the mail, update the website, etc. And from all the Google searches and forum posts I've read, the Pearson Vue Trick has been TOTALLY accurate.

Even with that in mind, I still check the BRN website for my name daily and stalk the mailman for my letter :uhoh21: Does anyone know which one will come first?

Congrats to californians! Gooo us! Still waiting for mine!

I took mine in CA on 6/29 and got the good pop up from PVT right when I got home an hour later. The BRN posted on 7/4! It should be up soon for you! Keep checking! CA takes only about a week if you passed and you don't have any discrepancies/holds on your account(missing transcripts/paperwork, suspicions on fast amount of time you took NCLEX, etc.)

The website for CA will likely come first. I'm still waiting for mine in the mail and I took it 6/29 but my results on the website took only 6 days. Perhaps yours will take a bit longer due to your transcript/degree. I believe the letter in the mail takes about 3-4 weeks from what I heard.
