Aha hi, I'm VERY new, a few months ago I decided to become a nurse. I still need to get my general education but I still want to speak with all of you and learn more. Tell me about the good parts about your job and the bad. I want to make sure this is what I want.

The good points are helping people when they need some help the most.
The worse is their sometimes isn't enough time in the day to get it all done. The real world of high stress and poor nurse-to-patient ratios sometimes zapps the satisfaction.
Still, there's nothing else I'd rather do.
Take a lot at the various topics in the general forum, and the first year in nursing forum to get a feel for the field. Remember though the boards here are skewed negatively because we come here to vent, so take our "venting" in stride.
Good luck to you!
