What shoes have you found that work best for you as a nurse. nursing student? I need some for when I start next month and I'm not sure what to buy!
Thanks!

Honestly I have Nike Air Max. They are really comfy to me and cute. Got them from Nike outlet so not that expensive. I found the suggested nursing shoes ugly so opted against them. I want comfy n cute lol

I am going into my 3rd semester and have used Dansko Professional throughout my clinicals. I love them and even after a long day my feet don't hurt. I have worn Dansko's for pleasure for many years and really like them. They aren't cheap but they last for years.

My school requires us to wear all white shoes when we are in clinical. I bought a pair of New Balance and I love them. My feet do not ache when I get home from my 9 hour rotations.

I do both New Balance with a good insole added in and Dansko Pro XP. I fell in love with the Dansko while waitressing after cheap shoes caused ankle, knee, hip, and back pain. Took less than two hours the first time wearing the XPs for my pain to decease and I haven't looked back since. My fist degree is in kinesiology, so biomechanics and proper footwear has been a topic of interest for me.
I appreciate all your feedback! I have to wear all white as well and I'm not particularly liking the nursing shoes.
Thanks everyone!

I too am a Dansko Professional fan. We have to do the all white also and they are easy to keep clean. They're not cheap but my feet and legs don't ache after a long day on the floor and I can clean them with a Mr. Clean magic eraser. Totally worth the money for me. Good luck finding something that works for you!

Hey u cant go wrong with a cute pair of Nike kicks. To me Nike has always been comfortable
Mayah, my hubby bought me some Nikes for Christmas, but they aren't comfortable enough. I think at least these are more for looks, lol
Some are n some aren't. I had a hard time finding all white Nike's even the check mark had to be white. Luckily the air max's are comfy n has good arch support. But honestly no shoe I feel like will be comfortable after being on ur feet for 6+ hours

Dansko's all the way! I didn't discover them til my first nursing job but I highly recommend them, worth every cent. I suffered and suffered throughout nursing school, now I have no pain and can last 12+ hours on my feet with no issues.
