Good agencies to use for a UK RN wanting to go to Florida

Hi all,

I am a UK registered childrens nurse with a QIS in neonatal care and I'm looking to move to florida with my husband and our 6 year old son.

I'm looking for any advice about:

-how long will it take to get the EB3 visa?

-is it best to go through an agency or do it myself?

-any good agencies?

-any other advice?

Are you aware that US nurses are generalist trained? You will need adult, pediatric, OB/gyn and mental health nursing, theory and clinical hours on your transcript.

Until you get your nurse registration sorted employers will not look at you. Makes no difference whether you use agency or do it yourself timeframes are the same but doing it yourself will give you more opportunities to go where you want not where the agency wants you to go.
