Hello guys,

I would like to start a topic for all the Golden West College Nursing （or any other colleges) Spring 2018 applicants! Please feel free to share your experiences with us regarding application process, helpful tips, and why or why not you were selected (if you feel comfortable to do so), suggestions, or comments! We are all in the same boat and some of us may even become classmates so hopefully this will help us get to know each other and also get some of the anxieties off of our chest! Good luck everyone 😇！

The email was sent out on Tuesday. It looks like we have our orientation November 8th.

Hello and congratulations to all who have made the ADN program at Golden West! I wanted to ask if any of you who have accepted also applied to Cypress College's ADN program? If so, would you mind notifying the Health Science Applications office in writing that you would like to withdrawal your name/application if you choose to keep your seat at Golden West to possibly open up seats for others who are waiting to hear from Cypress's program . Could someone tell me how the points are calculated for the multi-criteria for Goldenwest?

Got selected as an alternate. It looks like the avg points were around 70's for those who got accepted. Anyone else an alternate? Hoping I still end up at GWC, I did apply to other schools as well.

I was selected as an alternate as well. Really keeping my fingers crossed that I get in at Golden West!
