I made this thread for those of us who will be applying to Golden West College's Fall 2020 nursing program. If you are applying, can you please share your experience as well as how many points you are applying with?

I will be applying with 83 points!

Hi there!

I will be applying with 79 points. I would've applied with 84 points but my TEAS score isn't that competitive but fingers crossed! I'm sure you will be accepted with 83 points. Goodluck to us!

I believe you have good chances of getting into the program with 79 points too! I saw someone get accepted with 78 points for Spring 2020. ?

Hi, there. I applied for Fall 2020 as well...with I believe 85pts. Where else is everyone applying to? Is GWC far from you? GODluck everyone ?

Hi lean, You'll most likely get in! 85 pts is competitive. I live close to gwc and will probably apply to most of the cc around the area as well as to csulb and csula. ?

Hi everyone! I applied with 83 points. So far, I’ve applied at gw & csulb. Prob will also apply to lbcc & mt sac. I’m taking the intro to nursing class rn in case I don’t get in anywhere this time.

Hey everyone! I applied with 89 points if GWC agrees with how I added up points. I took my science prerequisites at GWC, and I really like the campus and the school so fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone as well! ?

Hey guys this is my third attempt applying to the program. I have 55 points and have increased my points over time by taking additional classes, retaking my TEAS, and finishing my volunteer hours.

I really want to get into this program, fingers crossed it finally happens.

You need around 78+ points to get selected for this program.
