Golden West College ADN Spring 2022

Hey everyone,

I'm starting this thread so we can support each other through the next round of applications. It's my 3rd time applying and I now have 81 points. I think it could go either way for me at GWC, but I do feel like I'm getting in somewhere no matter what. Good luck!

Positive thoughts everyone, from previous years forums almost all of the alternates are usually offered positions. You just have to hang in there.

Hi guys,

I got accepted with a total of 79 points! I'm going to decline my admission so whoever is an alternate can take my spot?

Congrats! If it is not too personal, may I ask which program you are going to instead? If not, no worries and good luck!

Congrats! As you can see, there are already some spots opening depending on a person's program preference. Saddleback sent their acceptance out on Oct 1st, Santa Ana is by Nov 29, Cypress is supposed to be no later than Dec 1st, and as @Louiszgo mentioned, the CSUs are doing interview process now or soon. Each program might 'shake' loose a few more seats for you. Hang in there and good luck!

I’m sure a lot of spots will open up as you said! Non of the CSU for BSN program has released the result yet so I anticipate people declining offer to golden west when they are accepted to CSU.

I’m alternate #4, and I am staying positive and hoping for the best!! For any other alternates if you get an official acceptance let me know, I hope they notify us soon. Fingers crossed

Hi all!

I was put on the alternate list, #18... hoping a whole lot of spots "shake loose" as one of you commented earlier ? Congrats to all those who got in already, curious if you guys were given a deadline to accept admission by?

Good luck! They gave us until Friday, October 22nd. They are sending us our pre-enrollment packets on the 27th. So they should be filling alternate spots from now until the 27th!
