Hey everyone,

I'm starting this thread so we can support each other through the next round of applications. It's my 3rd time applying and I now have 81 points. I think it could go either way for me at GWC, but I do feel like I'm getting in somewhere no matter what. Good luck!

That said. If someone drops in November for say Cypress or a CSU, that slot will open for the next alternate. Down side is paperwork for GWC Admin and a much quicker deadline for the alternate.

Yes, vivian_le was wondering if we started like everyone else - Jan 31st - or if we ran on a different schedule. A quick search on the Spring schedule and a reach out to a friend who is in the program told us that the schedule is the same as the rest of GWC. I was confused myself since I didn't know how Intersession affected us.

 

50 huh? That is awesome if our cohort is a bit bigger than 45!! More seats means more people starting this program, and I'm all for that.

I really hope we hear back by the end of this week! I saw a few people declined their spot so I’m hoping we get our letters soon, ugh. The wait is killing me?

Here is to hoping, the pressure the waiting causes could make diamonds. ?My friend who got in for Spring 2021 did not get her notification until early December.?

Sorry, nothing here.  I'm not suprised really. I heard GWC is operating on a 'skeleton crew' admin staff even before COVID. That would explain the delays and the lag in responses to emails if it is only 1 or 2 people handling all the paperwork.

I emailed GWC Nursing Admin and the Administrative Specialist A___ about our pre-enrollment email and she responds 30 mins later with:

"Good afternoon Kenji,

Thank you for your email and paying close attention to this matter. We apologize for the delay. The information was just sent so please let me know if you didn’t receive it.

Respectfully,"

Don't know if my email caused it or if it was just good timing, but I will take it either way ?.

Be sure to check your school emails, you should have the Pre-enrollment info now.
