Going for the "easy life"

Hey guys, this made me laugh the other day! I was talking to my friend who said that she was feeling "stressed out" in her job. Her job as a sales manager, that includes a £20,000 year + bonus at aged 20 (nurses over here start at £16,500), plus a company car, mobile phone, laptop computer etc. She said that later on in her life she wants to give up her job to "take it easy" and she thought about going into nursing because it "wasn't that stressful"!!!!!!Welcome to the real world honey!!!!!!!What do you think about this????

Spoken like someone who hasn't lived the life and doesn't know what is involved. I am sure her job is stressful too and I would have no idea what that kind of stress is like.:) :)

HELLO, reality! lol

Just because she has the priviladge of having all these material things does not mean she is not under great stress. Usually there is a trade off, as in every field. Nothing is for free. But if she thinks she is going to have "it easy" as an RN she's up for a a surprise. Good luck to her

Be a good friend and encourage her to be a nurse! Reality will take care of the rest. She might even aquire a whole new respect for you;)

you must remember she claims she's thinking about nursing bacause it's easier and not because she feels this is her call. . . we have many "wrong" people in the field for all the "wrong" reasons as it is. . . you gotta love it or else you'll be unhappy
