Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows where do you go to training if you get hired as a RN for Fresenius in IL. The Chicagoland area. If there is a course to take is it all classroom for a certain amount of time? Where would that course be located? Thanks so much.

I work IN several Fresenius units - they have a very well-organized 6 week to 3 month orientation. Once you are hired, they will provide the training.

In Chicagoland area, there are quite a few places you are sent for training. You get the classroom training (4 weeks) by the fresenius educators in one of the locations- one is by the Thorek Hospital, another is in Skokie, Melrose park, and some other suburbs.
Clinical training will be done in your own facility, you will be assigned to a preceptor. depending on the pace of how fast you can learn, and also on the need of the unit, you will be trained for somewhere between 8 weeks to 12 weeks altogether.
