Hello future GMU nursing students! I just got my acceptance letter from the nursing department today and wanted to reach out to my soon-to-be classmates! Who else got in to the program and plans to attend!?

Hi Lisa! Yay, of course I remember Sarah. That's so great! I'm sure I'll end up accepting GMU because of the $$, but I feel like I know almost nothing about the program since the information session was less than informative (pretty much the whole thing focused on the application). I'm nervous about being able to keep up with the pace. I'm planning to call and ask if I can visit a class or at least see the campus in the next week.

I'm trying to figure out how to PM you . . . Anyway congratulations again!

That's like my exact same thought! I picked it because of the money, the proximity to home, and the prestige (it is generally accepted to be a solid program), but other than that, I know almost nothing. Stalking the forum from previous GMU ABSN classes has been helpful, and I joined the GMU nurses association Fb page to get in contact with some other people in the program, so maybe that will help too. I have to admit though, my other universities were alot better about providing information in regards to the actual program itself. GMU's information session DEFINETLY all about just getting admitted. Anyways I think I found you on FB and sent you a friend request! You can PM me there if its more convenient :)

Hi! I'm excited to join you both this fall. I haven't accepted yet but plan to in the next few days. GMU was the only place I applied.

I also don't know a lot about the school/campuses specifically, but I know someone who got her traditional BSN and Master's at GMU so will probably pick her brain some more. Congrats to all!

Hi all, I am also accepted to the ABSN Fall 2016 Mason program and I'm scouring for more information - as you said above, there isn't much out there! I looked for the Facebook group above and couldn't find it. Is it searchable? I am waiting to hear from other schools and would like to do my research and make the right decision on where to go!
