I wanted to start a thread for everyone who applied this semester at GCC. In the email application receipt I received they said we would not hear back until April to send TEAS scores if we made the chancellors cut. Let's keep each other updated through this grueling wait. Good luck to everyone that has applied!

Slyvalleygirl yeah at longest you pass the teas and pass the calculator cut score we should be okay. I will be taking the TEAS soon my GPA is great too. What was your score on the actual TEAS test?

I scored an 80 percent on the teas. Did you take it at Glendale may 2nd ?

Good luck to you as well! This waiting is awful! I've been checking my email everyday but I'm pretty sure they wont notify us till maybe next week. Fingers crossed it will be soon because I haven't been able to focus on studying for finals. lol I've been day dreaming about acceptance

I did not get in either. I figured I mean it a lottery and i'm sure there were lots of applicants. Hoping for a spot in spring at trade tech. Good luck to everyone else

Yeah, I definitely feel same. Lottery really is just all out of luck.

I got my rejection letter earlier today. It said that I was not selected for the nursing program. Good luck to you guys. Sooo disappointed. Still waiting to hear back from LACC and LAVC. *fingers crossed!!

Hello everyone, I am currently a first semester student at GCC in their nursing program. I just wanted to say that in my cohort I know at least half of the students who are in our program were initially denied a placement or selected as an alternate- but were accpeted into the program when seats began opening up.

Some of the students that were offered a placement WILL deny their seats, so make sure you email the department back and ask them to keep your application for any openings!

This is my second time being waitlisted and I don't feel like I'll ever be accepted. Since it is random selection my chances are all out of luck. Any advice @mdoss
