Gift for a preceptor?

Hello all!

I have been a Nurse for 3 years now and I started a new job.

I have had three weeks of precepting on the new floor and I would like to get the three nurses who precepted me a gift (something small to show appreciation)

Even though I am pretty experienced for this floor, I still feel like they really helped me!

What should I get them?

I dont know if they like coffee, as I never see them drink it. I was going to do that, but then decided to come here for help.

As I didnt get a chance to really know these wonderful ladies, I am just not sure what would be appropriate to get them....

Any ideas?

I got my preceptor a coffee shop gift card along with a nice thank you card. I'm getting the same thing for the nurse who just served as my precptor for my MSN practicum project.

I know just what to do....I think that the card sounds really nice and maybe a basket or bag of treats will be great!

I cannot afford to buy them a new car.....but they probably deserve one!
