A nurse assisted me greatly in obtaining a position in a ER at a hospital. I received my RN license over the summer. I did work as a LPN before and this nurse was my supervisor at my old job. She also works at this same hospital in the ER and therefore assisted me in getting a position in that hospital and unit. I am so appreciative because I haven't been a RN for long, and I have no prior hospital experience (only LTC experience). I also have my associates and am in school for my BSN. It is already very hard to obtain a hospital position as a new grad here in NYC, especially if you only have your associates degree. I want to get her something to show that I appreciate all she did for me. I need help in terms of what to get her?
I am not sure what is considered a appropriate gift. Any assistant would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Very thoughtful! Maybe a gift card and nice note?

What a lovely idea. I would personally go for flowers with a card. Or just a card expressing gratitude.
