I was wondering who else is going to be applying to the Gayle Greve Hunt SON- ABSN Spring 2019. :happy:

It's taking foreverrrrrrrrrrrrr :(

I spoke with (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) the other day about something and while we were on the phone she mentioned that emails should be sent in the next 10 business days or so. That was on Thursday or Friday so I would say we should hear something by the end of next week!!

Did any of you find out if we get an email stating if we didn't get an interview too? I'm so anxious n nervous. If not is there also a fall semester?

I haven't called because I figured they are getting so many calls now lol. But there is a fall semester also. You have to pay the app fees again though.

I know :( I just tell myself that in order for me not to get so anxious and nervous. That I still have an opportunity to do better and apply again n not have to wait another year ://

Specially since utep is kinda a dead end when it comes to applying since they don't consider other aspects they only consider your gpa for 3 classes

Exactly. It's too expensive to try utep. I have a friend who is in phase two for the third time because she needs to make all A's in those three courses. It's unrealistic and a lot of unecessary stress. She has a good gpa in all of her other classes and did well on her teas. I don't have money to waste like that lol

Yes well it depends on how bad or how well everyone does, n you can only take it 2 times like the 1st time and then the retake that's it, there is a limit so maybe this is her second time? Unless she got a medical withdrawal. That's why it's a dead end if you don't make it you can only retake it once

That's crazy about UTEP!!! I didn't even look into trying with them. I either get into Tech or we have to move and I can try at a school to wherever we relocate to. My husband is in the army so I have to plan around his career. I'm hoping we hear something by the end of next week!! The wait is killing me.

That's good I had never really looked too much until now that i see every nursing school is so different it's crazy, they are all competitive but some are more considerate about the person as a whole that just gpa or in uteps criteria the gpa of only 3 classes :/...n omg I know I'm so nervous I'm not even kidding n anxious about next week, they said by the end of the week? Or even by the first week of October? I'm too anxious I've been looking for ppl who have a stats similar to min to see if they got an interview in the past ;((

Oh n I met 2 girls from my micro lab at utep that are applying for this semester, their stats are not super good which I don't know if I'm my mind My stats are low compared to everyone that's gonna apply, maybe cuz I think I'm making assumptions that everyone who is applying has very criteria n they are all super high stats
