Getting ready to apply: CT Community Colleges- Nursing Program 2013

Good morning!

I am a current LPN working on pre-requisites for application to the CCC-NP for Fall 2013!

I'm taking most of my courses at Holyoke Community College and hope to transfer to Northwestern Connecticut Community College.

So far I have completed:

Nutrition 101- A

English Comp and Lit (6 credit course)- A

Biology w/ Lab- A

Math 085- A

This summer I am taking:

Intro to Psych

Math 095

This fall I am taking:A&P I

Chemistry

Computer Apps

Human Development

During the winter intersession I will take:Sociology

Spring 2013:

A&P II

Statistics

Microbiology

Public Speaking

On my list of things to do:

-Attend Nursing Information Session

-Take TEAS-V

I plan to continue after my ASN to my BSN from Elms College so I'm working on required courses for that program as well.

Is this anyone's second time being waitlisted? Any advice for those of us for the first time. Trying not to be down about it :(

It got taken down. My guess is that its supposed to be up at midnight. They probably wanted to avoid phone calls while they were trying to go home.

I'd say just get your lower grades up. My back up plan was to get my one B as high as I could get it. All of my other classes were B+ or better.

I'm retaking Math 137. I still have Micro to take, which I'm registered for in the Fall. I got a B in A&P 1, just don't want to retake that hell!! I think I'll get my TEAS up, only got a 78. Would you retake A&P 1 with a B?

I think it's def right! It had my name banner ID address. I think they just don't want us to know right now!!!

I wonder what everyone's stats were. I got an 89% on my TEAS V, I got a B- in A&PI, a B- in Chem and the rest were As. My GPA is 3.6-ish. Did I really suck that bad?!

RNN34: No they can't take it back. They wouldn't got through all the trouble of making ALL those documents available to you as a mistake! It's right. So go celebrate. I am!

My Stats were A&P I B, A&P II B+, Micro A, GPA 3.8, but my Teas was bad 70%. I'm just gonna keep applying until it is my time. I have no more classes to take so I guess I will just take some class towards my BSN. Good Luck to everyone!! Never give up!! : )

I got into NV and my link is gone now. But, I printed my acceptance letter, which includes the part that I have to mail back to officially accept my seat. I also printed my 26 page orientation packet!
