Does anyone have used NCSBN practice question?
I have been getting 60% to 70% on their Q&A practice question, but I am not sure what is the probability to pass NCLEX doing their test practice.
I am a second time tester and not sure what to use since I used Saunders and 3500 NCLEX question for my first time.
Hope hearing any feedback from you.
Thank you

I have heard that to pass comfortably you should try to aim for 75% on practice questions. But I am sure that others will come along and say something different.

Good luck
Thank you for answering!
I'm just hoping that this review really helps because I am not looking forward to take this test for third time. It is putting down my selfesteem.

You got through nursing school, you'll get through this test. Just focus on the task at hand. Get comfortable with the content for the exam, then practice literally thousands of questions that are written from a "critical thinking" standpoint. Saunders and Lippincott are very good at content questions; if you're weak anywhere there, you can keep doing lots of those questions and learn what you missed.
Then, move onto higher quality, harder questions with other programs like Kaplan, NCSBN.
You can do this!

I did NCSBN review and passed for the first time. My scores were between 90%-100% on the practice test. I believe the secret to pass the NCLEX with this comprehensive review is to understand the contents, Nx implications and the complications that may arise as a result of any named disease process.
Remember NCLEX test you on questions that requires you to think critically. Patient safety is ALWAYS first even if you have never see the condition before.
As a novice you are not strong in the "clinical know how and clinical know that" as a result you are expected to get some answers wrong BUT your basic understanding of the review contents coupled with your critical thinking skills will help you to pass. My prayer is that you pass the test next time so that your dreams will become a reality. I wish you good Luck and may God grant you wisdom and revelations in your studies.

Thank you to all of you for the feedback. I will continuing working on this review and hope my score improves as I am practicing the questions.
Abandenden12 how many times did you take the same test?

I practice the test for 10 weeks analyzing the subject matter and idea behind each question. This enabled me to think like those who wrote the test. My clinical instructor told us about 20 times that "when answering questions on any exams always think like those who write the test and you will pass" I believe it works.
Do not be discouraged with your scores, with consistent practice and content review it will improve. Please note that the scores does not define who you are or your becoming. Build positive image about your success and see yourself coming out with flying colors in your next attempt.
Study to build your self confidence and remember "the horse is prepared against the day of battle but safety is of the Lord". GOOD LUCK!!!!

Thank you,
You are right I need to start building my confidence. If I made through nursing school I can deal with this exam too :). Regarding "think like those who wrote the test" I think is true my husband who became a nurse last January one time told me that and that's how he did so well during school and when he took NCLEX he passed with 75 question, but I was not sure what he ment.
If you have more tips on how to do this keep posted please. I will let you know when I schedule my exam againd and about the results too.
Thank you again and take care
