Getting NCLEX-RN results in California

I took mine on march 3rd as well in Ca. I'm losing hope. No quick results so the wait it horrible. GOOD LUCK to all of us!! Best wishes. Keep us posted.

Did anyone took the test on May 27,2009? I took mine that day. And i am finally waiting for the result for 7days now. I tried looking up my name on the California Board of Nursing License Verification but, No result on record, as stated there. I've actually called the Board of Nursing to check with them, they only told me to wait for 2-4weeks on the mail. I asked if i can check my name on the license verification, and they told me that i will not be able to know the result on that site. I started to study again just in case the result is negative.

Does it mean that if i fail, they would cancel my Interim Permit right away? I tried checking my Interim Permit online and until now, there's no cancellation yet. Does it mean something if they are not cancelling it? As of now, that's how i check it if i pass or fail. OMG! Dont know what to think. The waiting kills me.

Hello there 3STARSGURL. Did you try looking up your name on the license verification online on www.rn.ca.gov? I have SSN but they told me that it doesn't matter, have to wait for the snail mail.If in case you will get your result soon, please tell me.Good luck for the teo of us.

Good luck for the both of us!...Did u tried checking your name on www.rn.ca.gov license verification? If you will have the result please share it. I'm waiting for my result as well. I took it May 27 too.

Depends on where you live. If in the US probably looking at 2 weeks approx where as outside the US looking more towards 4 weeks approx

i checked the site too.. no results.. i guess i need to wait for it in the mail coz i do not have ssn and they would not be able to give me a license number eventhough i pass.. though i do not feel very confident about the exam.. :crying2: its horrible to have to wait in the mail.. have you checked with the board if you have a complete record with them?

I checked with them. I have submitted complete documents. Its just that they don't participate in quick results anymore, plus no more checking on the license verification as they said, 'coz they'll just send it on snail mail. But once i will have the result next week I'm sure, i'll post my result pass or fail.

wow is that for real no more checking on line?that would be crazy...best of luck for y'all waiting for your result, i will be testing next week and it be so bad to wait that long for the result.goodluck yu guys...

If you're not sure like i do, try to study in advance. I started studying again if in case i can't make it. Its our personal benefit to study whether we will take an exam or not. But, you know what, i didn't really study when i took the exam. I just want to take the exam to know how it looks and feels like. I didn't even feel nervous that day. So whatever result may come out, i will accept it. But it was draining though.

Oh,yeah! That's for real. No checking. That's what they told me,to wait for the result on the snail mail. But i'm trying to get a hint on how i will track on the result.. When they told me that once fail, they would cancel the Interim Permit right away. So, I kept on tracking my Interim Permit or temporary permit on their website..
