Getting German Nursing Degree accredited in US

Hi, I am currently in the process of applying to College here in the USA for nursing. As I was born in Germany, I also have the opportunity to study there. Now I was wondering where it would make more sense to study as I would like to be able to be a nurse in both Germany and USA (you never know where you're gonna end up!). What are the procedure to get a German degree accredited to become an RN in the US, and also the other way around? Thank you so much for your time in advance!

I qualified in England and had to get my transcripts evaluated. You have to get your transcripts translated into "American" by a recognized body. I used AACRAO but there are a couple different ones out there. You could email admissions of the university you wish to attend and ask them which one they use. Here's the link to the one I used:
