This looks intriguing. $165 for *56* CEU !!
I had problems with online ceu. My certification required 80% in subject and 20% related nursing material. About half of that 80% was online studies. They did not accept those hours. I ended up having to retake the exam. I aced it, but all those ceu s were then no good. So find out in advance IF yours will accept hours before you pay out/invest time .
Check out http://www.emedicine.com- I think they have a number of Geriatric-related CEU's. They're under ten bucks a piece...don't know where you can find free ones. ;>) After much searching, this was the only site that had just about every neonatal topic known to man. It is thorough. If I find any more, I'll let you know. I think your first 1.5 hrs are free there.
Thanks super mod. and cristi,Ill check out those sites. And super,Ill find out about those online CEUs.
Cargal,I got my geri-certification thru The American Nurses Credentialing Center, which is a center through which the American Nurses Association can provide certification. The credentially programs are based on standards set by the ANA Congress for Nursing Practice.
I dont think they have a web site but the phone number is [800] 284-2378.
