Georgia State University Traditional Spring 2020

Updated:   Published

Hey guys! I haven't seen anything posted for GSU's Spring 2020 BSN cohort yet and I wanted to start one! I'm about to take the TEAS for a second time to hopefully raise my score, the first time I took it I only had A&P 1 done. Here are my stats:

TEAS: 82

Science GPA: 3.75

Overall GPA: 3.81

Institutional GPA: 3.71

I'm a bit weary about getting in but hopefully I'll raise my TEAS score a good bit since I have all of A&P done now. Let me know what your stats are!

I made an 84 on the TEAS, but our GPA stats are pretty much exactly the same!! Best of luck!!

Update, I scored a 93.3 on my TEAS retake! Fingers crossed that will help me out a little bit!!

Anyone know how soon we might hear back about decisions?

Last semester the deadline was Feb and they didn't get back to everyone until May.

The deadline for spring was October 1st and with next semester being so close decisions usually go out around the end of October up until Thanksgiving.

I feel like I’m slowly dying while waiting. Urgh I know it takes time but I feel I have to know. My stats are:

overall gpa/institutional: 3.76

science: 3.67

teas: 87

I feel like I’m on the brink between getting in or waitlisted, but I can’t tell if it’s just that I’m being realistic or more pessimistic.

Lololol my GPA is 3.52 and my science GPA is low...like 2.92 I think. TEAS 82.

My only saving grace may be the associate degree in science I already have from GSU, that I've been on the President's list 2 semesters in a row and my nursing/volunteer experience. I'm praying to ALL the gods ?

It's officially reached 4 weeks, some decisions should start rolling out soon right? Has anyone heard anything, even if it's about a vague friend of a friend, it could be helpful in knowing where they are in the process?

I talked to an advisor. They are just now starting to look things over. They had not done anything as of last Tuesday and she told me they wouldn’t until the end of this week.

Anyone heard anything about the program yet? Traditional or ACE?

Have not heard anything yet.
