Hey yall! Is anyone applying for the spring 2015 program? I haven't seen anything out there for it and I'm just curious what everyone's stats are!

I just turned my application in and I am so nervous! I have no clue how I'm going to wait a month to hear back! ?

Ok so I have a question you guys. Since they have already started sending waiting list letters does that mean that they have already accepted the limit which I believe is 72? Does that mean that the next batch will be denied letters? I'm just curious about that.

@aero unfortunately yes. They only sent 10 waitlist letters. I'm about to get on my computer and tell yall all what he told me today

Okay so i went to hugh's office today and everyone who is accepted has been sent out it sounds like...only 10 waitlist letters were sent out...the rest of the people (60 i think) are denied or going to be added to the waitlist depending on who declines by tomorrow, etc so i hope everyone got in!! Sorry if you are still waiting for your letter and you read this...but there is hope. They are not sending those letters out until they know if they can change it to waitlisted

he said they pulled a ton of people off the waitlist last semester and historically more people apply in the fall so i kinda thought it was surprising they needed to pull off the list at all.

He did mention no one has declined their seat yet though

Also he said the average GPA went up this semester making it more competitive and a lot of people who got in last semester would not get in this semester...ugh

Also- if anyone out there got ACE and wants to drop down to traditional- you can after one semester

If you got traditional and want ACE- there is no way around it besides getting on the ACE waitlist or applying again in the fall (and apply only for ACE maybe) but its risky.

There was 140 something applicants and they accept 75

I think he said 32 was ACE people

Update:

A couple of people declined their spots in the nursing pool, so my waiting list spot went up. So there's still a chance.

Hey cheesemonster. How do you know your waitinglist spot went? Who did you speak to? I am number 3 on the waitinglist for both tracks, but I still have not been contacted? If you could please let me know this I would really appreciate it :-)

Hey areo1!

So, I contacted Wanda Little about the waiting list and she told me that two people declined their seats, so I went from being #6 to being #4 on the waiting list for the traditional. Since you are number 3, that would make you number 1 on the list for the traditional, but call and confirm because things could change. However, I didn't apply for the ACE, so I have no information on that. Mrs. Little's number should be on the letter that you received.

You can email her, but it has to be within the nursing department hours if you want to call.

Update:

So, I contacted her and she stated that I am still at about number 3 on the waitinglist. She said that since I recieved my letter, they had to make adjustments. But, she said that there are certain people who haven't gotten back to her, so she might be contacting people from the waitinglist by this Friday. Just thought I'd share with anybody who is waiting.

Hello everyone just want to let yall know that I got accepted into the Traditional Track after being number 3 on the wait list for both ACE and Traditional. So, for anyone who reads this thread in the future just know that there is still hope for you even if you get waitlisted. I am so happy to meet everyone who got accepted :-)
