Georgia State University Spring 2015

Hey yall! Is anyone applying for the spring 2015 program? I haven't seen anything out there for it and I'm just curious what everyone's stats are!

I just turned my application in and I am so nervous! I have no clue how I'm going to wait a month to hear back! ?

The office said that we should hear back within 4-6 weeks after the deadline.

That just doesn't seem fair. Registration is in two weeks!!! I just need to know already!

Hey you guys :-) I went to the nursing open house that they had yesterday. I spoke to someone who is in charge of admissions and who also reviews the applications. They now said we should hear back during the first week of November. They also said that if other people start hearing back sooner, to not panic. Just thought I would let you know. They also said that last semester,the lowest program gpa they accepted was a 3.3. :-) Good Luck you guys!!!

Hey guys!

I am so nervous about getting in, but apparently there were only 125 applicants. So, there's definitely a higher chance of getting in!

My Program GPA: 3.63

TEAS Score: 87

Wow only125??? How many do the usually have? 300? I have Ben chcking my mail twicea day since October 1st lol

Well, from what I've seen and read, the application pool is a bit lower for Spring than Fall for Georgia State. I read that last spring (2013) they only had 161 applicants, but only 65 of them got in, which is not too bad. Fall is more competitive and they have more applicants(last they had 225, but 72 got in).

Update:

I spoke with the adviser from the nursing department and he said that the number of applicants is in the 140's (he wasn't sure of the exact number), much lower than last year and they'll accept 72 from that pool. We also should expect the letters going out during the 2nd week of November. Good luck everyone!

Let me know any updates! The waiting has got to be the worst thing ever. Have faith. Everyone has come this far for a reason!

Hi, everyone!

I applied for spring 2015 traditional program. I could apply for ACE program, too, but I was afraid of the fast speed of the program!

Hopefully everybody get a good news soon!!

GPA: 3.91(science 4.0)

ahh yay! did you get in? I haven't received mine yet. I'm really really hoping that I can stop checking my mail twice a day today!!! I just want to know for sure
