Hi, has anyone submitted their application for fall 2017 semester yet?

I viewed the thread for Spring 2017, but didn't see anything for Fall semester.

I've submitted mine last week, and I'm scared already (yes, before they even start looking at the applications...). I applied to only the ACE track, but I'm afraid my grade is not good enough.....

GPA: 3.73

Science GPA: IDK

TEAS: 86

I volunteer at Northside Hospital and got my supervisor to write my letter of recommendation, does this earn me extra points on the application?

I'm a really bad writer, the part of the application I'm scared the most is my essay.... I wrote about the Affordable Care Act, I picked it on purpose cause it's a big thing, but now I'm scared...

I'm not accepted, I'm either rejected or wait listed. My heart is broken.

Don't worry. I know it feel because I got waitlisted last semester but try to retake the TEAS and boost your GPA you will get in for Spring I am sure. Stay positive!

Mrs. Little will send you an email if you are on the waitlist. If you are lucky and a spot is open they will call you and let you know. You won't know what number you are on the waitlist. The waitlist is destroyed the first day of school and you will have to reapply. Just retake the TEAS, make sure your essay is great, keep a great GPA and you will be fine. Usually, Spring is less competitive than FALL but just be well prepared. Let me know if you have any questions

I got a waitlist email. Does everyone get waitlisted or did denial letters go out too?

Mrs. Little will send you an email if you are on the waitlist. If you are lucky and a spot is open they will call you and let you know. You won't know what number you are on the waitlist. The school contacted me today to let me know that I'm on the waiting list. Let's hope for the best.

The people who get accepted to the nursing program gets the letter with instructions to take PINS review. This should be available after you accept the offer , sign the acceptance letter and send it back to Ms. Little before April 28th. We have to take the review before May6th after which we will get approved to register for classes. I dont know if this is different for traditional and ACE students. If anyone is in the ACE program and knows about this, please comment :)

I just want to say that anyone who got waitlisted or rejected to not give up hope. Honestly, getting rejected from State could be a blessing in disguise. I am rejecting my offer to State and going somewhere else and two of my friends are as well so theres definetly people giving up their spots. Make sure you apply to other schools too because it is a pleasant surprise that not all schools treat applicants like the way State has treated a lot of rejected or waitlisted students. Good luck and it will be okay no matter what!

My friend just told me about that. She is in the ACE too. I got my Acceptance email a week after you. I believe that I will receive my package sometimes this week. Let me know how you find the PINS because my friend was struggling about it. Thank you for telling me. I can't wait until we rock the semester! I heard that it goes by so fast and before we will be done before we know it :)
